I have a 8MP WiFi Camera: XM-PT827-80W. I opened it up and I am trying to get access to shell (if possible).
My idea is to change some behaviour of the camera.
2 changes:
- when a motion detection event occurs, trigger a webhook or send MQTT message
- store videos and images into custom storage, not cloud account that comes with this device + app
Should I use something like Frigate to go around this or can I mess around with this?
This is my first time tackling something like this.
What have you already tested on the camera: does it expose RTSP/ONVIF, a web UI, telnet/SSH, open ports from an nmap scan, UART pads/serial output, or local SD card recording?
I got WiFi and camera rotation logs from the pad in the middle of the selection. My guess is that this is UART pads.
