PLC control (relays) –> Somfy RTS transmitter: how can this be implemented?

Hello, I am looking for a solution that will allow me to control three roller shutters independently, each fitted with Somfy motors and RTS control. I would like to control them via Satel Integra, either using relays or low-voltage controls. Is there a standard solution that I simply cannot find? Do I have to buy three remote controls, set them permanently to a single channel and wire them into the switches?
Is there a sensible solution for a DIN rail or a box with inputs in the form of terminals and an RTS output?

Please explain in more detail what you want to achieve with these blinds and how you want to control them, because from what I can see, RTS is simply their radio system. If you want to control them from the home automation system, these blinds must either have control inputs or be voltage-controlled; in either case, you can control them via the control unit. If you provide more details or clarify how these blinds work, we’ll look into it further.

Check whether the roller shutter motor has terminals for wired control or a relay that responds to remote control signals. As the previous poster mentioned, RTS could be a remote control system, in which case you’ll need to bypass the remotes and control the roller shutters directly (using relays).

Well, unfortunately, they don’t have anything apart from the motors’ power supply.
That’s why I’m looking for some sort of cable-to-RTS converter.
I’m well aware that RTS is for remote controls, but in this case there’s no getting round it.
So my question still stands: do I need to solder into three remote controls to control these blinds independently? Does anyone have any ideas, or has anyone done this before?

Is it possible to assign a single remote control to all the roller blinds?
Chronis RTS Smart – it supports all roller blinds and has a control priority option.
Unfortunately, it won’t be possible without some soldering, but it can be done.

Right, I can assign a single remote control to all the blinds...
But I’d either have to programme the same channel into all the blinds... and operate them all on one channel, or switch channels on the remote, but I don’t like that solution; I’d prefer not to have to change channels, because, knowing how things go, something’s bound to go wrong without seeing which channel is displayed on the LEDs. As for the Chronis, have you read what it’s for? How is that supposed to help me? It’s for programming the up/down times.
And I want to control them from the alarm control panel...

It also has a manual mode, and that’s probably the most important thing.
After all, you don’t have to use all the fancy features this controller offers. The only question that comes to mind is whether it has a multi-channel mode, and this isn’t entirely clear in the manual.
Another option is to use a different controller plugged directly into the roller blind.

But it doesn't have any inputs, does it?
And I need wired inputs; the blinds only have a power supply, there aren't any inputs there either...
A motor with a built-in radio.

Hello, Have you managed to sort the problem out in the end? I’ve got the same issue and I don’t know how to connect the RTS motor to the wired control system from the Integra 128 control panel.

Are there any internal roller shutter motors that support both wireless and wired control?

Here’s how it works for me – 4 Somfy RTS roller blinds, one 4-channel TELIS RTS remote control for manual operation of roller blinds 1/2/3/4 or all at once (channel 5). For timed control, I used the Somfy Impresario Chronis RTS (which allows fully independent timed control of the roller shutters).

I think for integration with Integra, you could use the Somfy 5/16-channel universal RTS interface or perhaps the Somfy IP Interface
At one point, I also considered integrating Somfy RTS radio roller shutters with Integra using a 5/16-channel universal RTS interface, but the project stalled 

Unfortunately, I wanted Somfy motors for my roller blinds, but I ended up with these RTS radio-controlled ones in the sale. Reading this makes me lose interest in the promotion:) I didn’t quite understand whether it’s possible to control roller blinds with Somfy RTS radio motors (Oximo RTS) using Satel Integra 128 WRL?

Sure, you can... you just need to make some sort of RTS-to-cable adapter for the sound card:P

But seriously...either buy a remote, take it apart and solder the contacts, or there’s a ready-made module for this purpose – the price, as I recall, is around 1000 zł

I rang Somfy’s customer support and was told that the RCS 9002 transmitter is suitable for this. Details are available on the Somfy website – price on Aledrogo: 470 PLN

So for 500 zł we get a single-channel control system.... brilliant:)

Right. You can connect several blinds to this transmitter, not just one. It’s better than nothing. You pay for being careless. I just couldn’t find any information on the maximum number of blinds that can be programmed to this transmitter.

Have a think about whether it might actually be better to buy a remote control that operates 4 groups and take it apart to solder it into the microswitches... Then you’d have control over each group... I don’t know how many blinds you have... but if it’s four or fewer, then you’d have individual control over each blind...

I have six roller blinds. I’ll probably buy one or maybe two RCS 9002 transmitters. If the price drops, I might buy more.
P.S. I’ve just found them for 388 PLN each.
