    Welcome
Here is the issue to be solved.
An A1500 Elster energy meter with two RS485 ports (the first one occupied by a modem), a Moxa nPort 5130 RS485/Lan converter, AlphSET software.
I connected such a meter to the RS485 converter. In the AlphaSET counter software, I set up communication with the counter via TCP/IP. There I inserted the IP parameters of the converter. This works.
AlphaSET sees and connects to the converter, but the converter does not communicate with the counter.
What potru parameters do I have to zapoid to be communication counter <=> converter<=> AlphaSET?

You should have these parameters with your device because it was the manufacturer who set the speed and other communication values with the software.

An old topic admittedly, but I have recently seen such communication set to 300.7.e.1 - I would check this first.

And does anyone know where to get this AlphaSet program from?
