Essential question - are we talking about wired or wireless systems?
If you have the ability to plug into the lamp circuits in the switchboard then a sterbox will be just fine. If you're looking for wireless pips to fit into a lamp fixture or under a switch, then you have a few options:
    - Delta dore
    - Z-wave
    - F&Home Radio
    - Zamel?

Personally, I recommend Delta Dore because you have a 5 year warranty on each component and the price is swallowable (180 net for the module and 1100 net for the Tydom 2000 control panel). When it comes to z-wave it's best to buy the cheapest Vera. Zamel probably comes out cheapest, but I haven't tested it.
