    Hello,
I found a great sensor switch/dimmer for leds on the internet.
The circuit runs on 12V 2A. From the information I've been able to get, 2A is the output value that cannot be exceeded. What about the input? Can I connect a 12V 4A power supply? With a 4A power supply, I could install two such switches in parallel and control two light bars. Can I connect a larger power supply to such a circuit? You can find the switch at:

As much as you can. A larger power supply than the output of such a sensor doesn't interfere with anything.
So using several switches connected in parallel, to a suitably large power supply, will work :)

And what can happen when the maximum output current is exceeded? Does the circuit shut down? Or does it immediately smoke and is only suitable for rubbish? :)

The switch circuit is probably based on "some" ready-made microelement, it is possible that it has a protection (even if it is polymeric), but I would not advise overloading it. Unless you don't care about its long operation

So it is a matter of either respecting or checking ;)
