    Hello

I am thinking of a solution how to control the floor temp in a room about 30m2 depending on the temp of this room. I am before pouring the floors and want to lay another wire to the thermostat and to the temp sensor in the floor. There will still be a fireplace in the room.
The fireplace will be in the centre of this room. The flooring is distributed throughout minus the area under the fireplace.
The problem is that I don't know where I should install the thermostat with the temperature sensor (to measure the air temp) and the floor temp sensor is still to be routed from it.
In your opinion, where should I install the air and floor sensor?
I would like the temperature that the fireplace "generates" to automatically reduce the heating of the entire floor zone in this room.

I would suggest mounting the air temperature sensor as far away from the fireplace as possible, but making sure that it is not also mounted next to a window or other heat/cooling sources.
