    Hello, and please help me to solve the problem of automatic switching on and off the external roll-down shutters depending on the time of day. I need an automatic twilight or similar system which would lower the roller-blinds in the whole house at night (there are 16 of them) using a NO contact which should hold for approx. 1 minute (this is the time of lowering the roller-blinds), after which the contact should disconnect. The problem is that at daybreak the second NO contact is to be switched on and should also hold for about 1 minute (this is the time for raising the shutters) and should also switch off after this minute. The whole system for lowering and raising the roll-down shutters is made up of relays. One part of the relays raises the roller shutters and the other part lowers the roller shutters and if any of the contacts were in the active state, there is no way to activate the opposite option. Thank you in advance for your advice.

    The simplest solution would be to use a small microcontroller to create a twilight sensor on an ADC and, depending on the state, close or open the roller shutters. Control it with transistors which will switch relays and keep the appropriate state on the output for one minute.

    Any small PLC can be used (e.g. AF-10MRD DC 12-24V net = 350 PLN (PLC, display, cable; soft free)
    for this a 230/24 low-power power supply (only PLCs with 24 Vdc power supply have analogue/measuring inputs;
    and a photoresistor + resistor to build a voltage divider depending on the light falling on the photoresistor.
    the 4 relay outputs can be used for any function;
    two for raise/lower;
    and two more....?!

    A second solution could be to use a twilight automaton, e.g. AZ112, and two time relays, e.g. PCA512; function: delayed off (one=lowering, the other =lifting....

    Don't complicate things, it's very simple! To be done on two suitable relays, without additional components.

    Retrofood,I support simple and proven solutions,but how do you make a twilight switch on a relay ?

    Added after 1 [minute]:

    And the timer.

    A twilight is purchased. With a relay. So more convenient and safer.

    Specify the type of twilight switch with adjustable threshold, closing of roller shutters/night/,opening of roller shutters /day/, independently of each other.

    On F&F components.

    Further there is no independent adjustment of the thresholds,independently.
    These are typical twilight switches,switching defined by a potentiometer,switching fixed.

    Same name,twilight switch not brightness switch./or together/
