Hi, I would like to ask if it is possible to implement a simple BMS using, for example, a simple Atmega controller... I'm concerned with the lowest possible costs.
Fibaro in its basic version costs about 4000 PLN, Arduino has the possibility to add input and output modules, but as far as I remember, there can be 8 of them... The controller itself also costs about 150 PLN. Is it possible to do it cheaper?

You pay for convenience. And the arduino/raspberryPI (and all its derivatives) are the cheapest solutions, not counting the time put into design and development. And it depends what you would expect from such a BMS, dear Author .

I am already answering.I am talking about automated lighting, energy counting, control of several sockets. I have a simple BMS in mind
