    Welcome,

I have decided to install some sensors in my flat, these include:
    - 2 flood sensors (kitchen and bathroom)
    - smoke detector
    - open door sensor
possibly also a camera and 'socket' switches.

Overall, I am mainly concerned about safety issues and about the notifications (sms/email/push) that I could get when water/smoke/door opening is detected. I would like the control software to be accessible from a PC and iPhone and have a robust but simple intuitive interface.

As for the detectors, I would like to buy the Fibaro ones (they seem solid to me and have extra features and good looks (this is an important thing for me). Unfortunately, the cost of a Fibaro control panel (especially as I don't seem to be automating the whole house straight away) is quite high.
That's why I was thinking about VeraLite or VeraEdge control panels. Will combining fibaro sensors with the Vera control panel be a problem? The Lite version is cheaper, would it be a good solution for my needs? Is the interface the same for both? Do they send notifications?

I would be extremely grateful for feedback and help.

    Regards
