One of the roller shutters is not responding after 5 years. I wanted to check myself if it was the motor's fault but the roller blind is rolled up at the top and removing the bottom cover shows nothing. How do I release the motor and lower the roller blind to check anything afterwards.

No one has any suggestions on how to uncouple the roller shutter from the motor?

There is no way to disconnect. You have to unwind the roller blind and remove the motor.

First locate where the roller shutter motor is connected to the control circuits. Then check that the motor control is correct.

But when the roller blind is wound up, you can't see anything.
It cannot be unrolled because it is blocked

After opening the cassette, you unwind it from the shaft and remove it. Then you have access to the motor.

The cassette is opened from the bottom, meaning there is only a wider gap and it cannot be unwound - blocked by the motor

It is likely that you have installed stops/stops in the bottom bar of the mantle/armour that do not allow the entire roller shutter to slide upwards. You must first remove them or, if they are plastic stops on the sides of the bottom bar, bend the guides a little at the very top, use a sharp chisel to cut off the stops on the left and right side of the bottom bar on one side and then forcefully slide the end of the armour/bottom bar into the box on one side and on the other.
Once you've done this, unwind the coil by coil until you reach the steel hangers that connect the roller shutter shell to the winding shaft. How to dismantle the motor I have already written in some post....
    Regards.

I dealt with it :) Then it turned out there was no voltage on the roller shutter, I fixed it and it wouldn't stop at the bottom. Service came and they mixed something with the codes.
