    Hello
I have an ST-408n controller that has a 0-10V analogue output and I have a 400V 6kW heater to heat water in a buffer tank.

I would like to use this 0-10V output on the ST-408n to control the heater?
    Is this even possible?

Thank you in advance for your answers
    Greetings

It is possible, you need a phase regulator on a triac or thyristor with a current carrying capacity of at least 6kW/230V = 26A , since triacs are quite cheap a BTA41-600B, for example, will be plenty suitable.

Simplest triac control scheme + potentiometer.

Of course, in order to control the triac with a DC 0-10V signal, a zero detection circuit is required, which, depending on the input signal, will drive the triac to the specified power.

All ok, except that the heater is on 400V (three-phase).

No problem, a separate triac for each phase and of course a smaller 26/3~ 8.5A will come out.
