    Hello,
    I'm doing alarm, automation and other utility installations at a friend's new build. He asked me about the wiring of the central heating.
    What wires, where and how to lay it ?
    There will be underfloor heating and regular radiators, gas furnace. There will also be a recuperator, but I don't know if this has anything to do with the central heating (is there a need to combine this into one system).

    And you know the layout and types of equipment :?: here you need coordination with the heating and ventilation contractor.

    hmm... my friend probably doesn't know himself, and I don't have any contact with plumbers... and sample wiring ? what to ? what to look for in a central heating system ? ? in general he will probably want to have everything wired up in a nexwell or something simpler, but the installation is worth preparing on the fly ;)

    But the builder probably has contact with them so it might be good to meet on site to make initial arrangements.

    Example of a recuperator scheme --> http://www.pro-vent.pl/rekuperatory-mistral-max-schematy,0.html
    One of the simpler schemes of central heating control. --> http://muratordom.pl/instalacje/ogrzewanie-gazowe/instalacja-pod-kontrola,26_3720.html for this you need to anticipate floor control.
    Or maybe something wireless --> http://fibarobialystok.pl/danfoss/danfoss-link

    It would be worth checking with the distributor of your chosen system.

    Thanks ;) I'll probably be there on Saturday, have a chat, think about the subject and write up what exactly will be fitted there.

    It would be good to extract the schematic/design from them to know and be able to use when selecting the controls.

    Maybe to start with, not so much what will be fitted there, but what expectations the customer has.
    For example, is he interested in zone heating - the possibility of controlling each room (or group of rooms) separately by means of building automation, control through a system with mixers (control from a boiler through additional expansion modules) or will he remain with manual regulation on rotameters in distributors or thermostats on radiators.
