    Hello,
I don't know if this is the right topic, but I think it fits.
    The issue is as follows.
A friend has a simple narube thermostat on his central heating system as in the link:
    Link

It engages a small pump (I don't know why this pump is there, some sort of auxiliary only I think).

On the thermostat, by turning the knob I set the temperature to borderline on. I turn the cooker on, the temp goes up and the thermostat doesn't turn on. But when I increase the temperature with the knob, it switches on (but already at a higher temperature than set). So it's as if the switch-on temp increases as the water temperature increases. A bit pointless for me. The thermostat has a second knob, or rather a small screw, which according to what I found on the internet is used to set the difference in temp. I just don't know exactly what difference. It is currently turned max to the right I think. When I turn it to the left it triggers a safety trip after probably half a turn.
Maybe this thermostat is faulty (but such a simple design, I don't know what could go wrong there).
Maybe someone knows what the issue is and how to possibly adjust it to make it work.

I should add that the wires are connected as follows. To the left terminal power, to the middle terminal phase to the pump, to the right terminal both neutrals (pump and power), to the protective :)

Mate starting from the left 1 phase from the power supply, under 3 phase to the pump and necessarily disconnect the neutral wires from under 3 because you are making a short circuit. The contacts only serve as a disconnector.

thanks for your reply. Being impatient I figured out how it should work :P
I saw the diagram but could not understand what the U was. Being used to English descriptions, I did not associate that it could be a device :)
