Hello, I am new to the forum and immediately have a question :)
I have an ESP8266 ESP-12E NodeMCU V3 module that I would like to power with batteries. I also have a basket for 4 AAA batteries, which give a total of 6V. And now my question, can you recommend me maybe the best way to make 5V from 6V? Because this is the voltage that the :) module should be powered with
Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Inverter or linear stabiliser.

And won't the difference between input and output voltage be too small for the stabiliser?

Because when I look at the specs on the internet, I see that usually around 2V there should be a difference

    Look for LDO stabilisers

Thanks :) and maybe you know of a specific stabiliser? because now I find ones with a max dropout voltage of 0.5V. But it's always me closer :)

    1A is enough?

And what does the circuit's datasheet note say about current draw?

I think that's about right? What is wrong with them?

Hello, the ESP module should be supplied with a voltage in the range of 3-3.6V

From what I have found it is so 200-300mA.
And that in my case is not 1V?

This my module can be 5V :)

For a stabiliser that has DO 0.5V to work, the difference must be at least 0.5V.
    So it will be OK.

Well yes, I blacked out, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the conversion :) And as for that 1A, I think it will be fine, better to have some stock :)

The ESP-12E will not survive five volts.
