Hi. While renovating my flat I decided to take advantage of the situation and build a smart home controller. At its heart will be an application with a touchscreen display which will be the main interface. I would like to connect the whole with an ethernet network and therefore I am looking for ready solutions which will enable me to plug in a cable, connect a light or other devices and control a given medium via sockets or http.

Has anyone had to deal with such a solution?
Do you know of any ready-made ethernet-controlled module that allows switching on/off and dimming of some node with bulbs on 220 ?
Alternatively, do you know of any other interesting ready-made ethernet control or sensor modules ?

    Greetings.

I've thought about it myself but does dimming still make sense today, in the age of LEDs?
Dimmable LEDs are more expensive and generally harder to find. In my opinion, it is better to build scenes using a lot of but smaller light sources. Today, LED strips have basically taken over as dimmable light sources. I would also prepare the installation for the installation of RGB tapes
