I can't find a diagram anywhere of how to connect the plug with the three-wire cable to the FIBARO Dimmer 2 and on to the fan, without the intermediary of a switch - just Z-Wave control. Plug > Dimmer2 > Fan. Please help me a lot! Thank you!

After all, it is in the instructions - as for the single switch (wiring diagram no.2), only you put a jumper in its place.

You mean this drawing? ...I don't really understand it, I don't know how to insert this "jumper" - cable permanently? What about the neutral wire? Can someone draw me on my drawing? Pls! FIBARO Dimmer 2 - How to connect a dimmer to a fan without a switch?

Yes, it's about that drawing, yes jumper (fixed cable), neutral is connected to the N terminal and to the consumer (fan), you mean rather PE (protective conductor) - you connect it directly.
By the way, I wonder how you want to calibrate the Dimmer when the load is a fan. If you intended only to switch it on/off, you should have used a Relay Switch with an appropriate load capacity.

I don't understand. I have a cable with a plug + Dimmer2 + fan with a cable like plug. I don't understand the diagram (for the socket) 2. Please help me a lot and draw me on my drawing how to connect these wires. Thank you for your help.

What do I have to draw for you when the wiring diagram is in the instructions? Relate it to what you sketched at the beginning and that's it - what's so difficult about it?

I thank you for your help, and congratulate you on your knowledge and skill in reading schematics.
Now I have a request to Dear Forumers to help me draw on my drawing from the attachment how to connect the existing wires to the Dimmer2 - sorry, I can't read wiring diagrams. Thank you for your understanding and understanding. <3

On the diagram you have just attached, it is enough to draw the connections - according to the original Fibaro diagram. If you even have a problem with it, don't even start with electrical connection.
Besides, as I wrote before - with a fan as a load, Dimmer calibration may be impossible.

Firstly where will this fan be built . And secondly .

Where in the diagram there is a socket 2 . Where does the mate have the switch that is supposed to be in the circuit.

FIBARO Dimmer 2 - How to connect a dimmer to a fan without a switch? .

On the left Plug - on the right Fan.

Thank you for the mass of questions and no answers. On the FIBARO forum, I drew an answer on my diagram after 5 minutes ;) 3 minutes later, I had the connection ready as in the attached photo :) .

Mr sosarek, - "Apart from that, as I wrote earlier - with the fan as the load it may not be possible to calibrate the Dimmer.
" - Your advice, is worth as much as your doubts, which is NOTHING! The fan works very well, it has calibrated itself automatically - I have programmed it so that depending on the temperature it takes from the "smoke sensor", the speed changes :D :D :D :D .

Mr Christopher, the fan is built where you can see in the photograph ;) As I pointed out in the first post no switch/switch was to be mentioned (only Z-Wave control!) - that's why I asked for help.

I recommend you the FIBARO forum and the friendly and helpful community <3

What diagram? After all, everything is clearly shown in the drawings in the manual and the level of your "question" is below criticism.

This Forum requires at least a MINIMUM of knowledge and your own involvement, whereas you have waited for a ready-made, without contributing to the topic with your own input, even an attempt to draw connections.

"cannot be calibrated" - a minimum of knowledge I suggest in order to comment on Fibaro :D .
If you don't want to help someone, then don't comment. You are pointlessly littering the post with your "doubts".

    Added after 3 [minutes]:

Unlike you, I posted the diagram (shared the knowledge I gained).... - in order to help others - because, there is no such diagram on the web - and you only had "doubts", which resulted from lack of basic knowledge on the subject of Fibaro :D

I have installed several times, the Dimmer is not intended to be used to control anything other than lighting - which is clearly stated in the instruction manual.

What doubts? Probably only those concerning the lack of any knowledge on your part.

What diagram? You posted a picture of the connections, the same is in the manual - which you could not read, you did not show any logical thinking by presenting the problem and having the solution given to you on a platter.

As I wrote above - I have assembled the Fibaro several times, while you have not even attempted to draw the connections yourself.

So I asked the community :) which helped me <3 and I instead posted a picture of the schematic, which is not on the web :) those that are, are only with switches/switches :D :D :D well, that you are so "mondry" :D a.k.a. "can't" :) :) :) .
You have most simply spammed/dropped a post. I, unlike you, shared the correct diagram and you continue to cry and spam :) .
You have not shown the minimum of decency :) .

Don't spam any more, or post a diagram, without the switch - as I have below.

Sure, it will be interesting to see how they help you when the Dimmer gets damaged as a result of connecting devices it is not designed to handle.

Even if you used a jumper instead of a switch it would still work - that's about it, you had enough hints that you couldn't use it is another matter.

You claimed (and still do) that there is a diagram in the manual without the switch (as I posted) - can you post so forumers can see for themselves? "Hinted at" - Is this a teleseminar or a community help forum? Do you deal similarly with your customers? hmmm...

This dimmer cannot be connected via the socket and this is your basic error. And the fact that the "amateur experts" from some forum advised it this way is their problem and yours as well. The topic is closed.

Topic summary

The discussion centers on connecting a FIBARO Dimmer 2 to a fan using a three-wire cable without an intermediary switch, aiming for Z-Wave control only. The official wiring diagram for a single switch (diagram no. 2) is referenced, with the suggestion to replace the switch with a fixed jumper cable. The neutral (N) wire should be connected to both the Dimmer 2 and the fan, while the protective earth (PE) is connected directly. Concerns were raised about calibrating the Dimmer 2 with a fan load, as it is primarily designed for lighting control; however, the user reports successful automatic calibration and functional speed control based on temperature input from a smoke sensor. Multiple users emphasize that the Dimmer 2 is not intended for fan control and caution about potential device damage. The user shared a custom wiring diagram without a switch, which is not commonly found online, and confirmed the setup works as intended. The discussion highlights the lack of official diagrams for switchless fan control with the Dimmer 2 and the risks involved in using the device outside its specified application.
