    Hello everyone!
I have a once purchased and working room light control kit manufactured by ELRO: controller AB440RA, on/off. AB440IS, AB440ID dimmer. I have searched, but these products are no longer available anywhere, even ELRO's website does not work....
Are ORNO products compatible with them and will they work together? The operating frequency is the same 433.92 MHz. The external appearance is similar, if not the same. Has anyone "mixed" the two systems?

I don't think so. Not only must the frequency of the transmitter and receiver be the same, but also the way the signal is encoded. And nobody knows that. One could try to decode the signal from the transmitter...but it is a lot of work.

Thanks a lot for the flashback, although you haven't cheered me up....
I'm going to buy a dimmer or switch from ORNO for a test, if it works then fine, if not then I'll have to buy a whole new set for the room, and remount the old one for the kitchen for example, only the cans are not well accessible.... But I guess there is no way out :-( .
Or maybe some forum members have old ELRO components and would like to get rid?
