How do I set the jumpers on a CYFRAL Smart-D so it works with a Laskomex CD-2502 intercom panel?

Set the CYFRAL Smart-D with ZW1 moved to the right, ZW2 fitted, and ZW3, ZW5, and ZW6 removed; that configuration solved the compatibility and door-opening problem with the Laskomex CD-2502 [#16468387][#16468477][#16472140] If the speech is too quiet or there is a hum, slightly adjust the microphone sensitivity / balance potentiometer; one user reported better audibility after turning it about 1/4 turn to the right [#16669200]

who remembers, for example, actions under the title electronic cassette "proel" panel "laskomex"

    These kits still work.

    I confirm and preserve them

Hello, maybe I can fix something, I have the same problem with the intercom. Old as in photo 1 changed to Smart digital as in photo 2 at the bottom in front of the staircase is CD-2502 apartment number 42 and why the jumpers in photo 1 in the old intercom are set like this I have no idea, I've tried everything setting the number 42 setting it as in the old one and nothing happens only when I hold the handset to my ear and press the bolczyk that hangs up the handset I hear a single knock/click, but it is also sometimes hollow. The code for opening works normally.

Check the voltage on the line and if it is, use a uniphone dedicated to this system, not some substitute

I bought the lm8/w6 laskomex as I sent above. Everything works - opening the call, answering. You can hear the sound of using the code, but you can hear the person calling the apartment downstairs very quietly. It's fine and nothing can be understood in the linden house. You have to shout under the cage.

Report this problem to the administration / cooperative / manager, because you will not be able to do anything about it yourself.

Yes, it looks like a line adjustment problem - it's possible that it's also a problem with mixed uniphones (different versions, models, manufacturers, etc.) - hell for installers in terms of volume control - it may even be simply impossible to adjust it so so that somewhere "not beeping" or "not too quiet".

Listen, I also have a problem with Cyfral version v2.5.
Polarity well connected. Jumpers well set.
The intercom rings correctly and I can open the door, however the conversation does not work.
Should I keep looking for a connection problem or is it more the uniphone's fault?

And the Laskomex uniphone works correctly on this line?

Unfortunately, I don't know. The builders sowed an old uniphone somewhere. It seems to me that if it rings and opens the lock, I couldn't have mixed up the wires.

Check this, as the Laskomex uniphone should work correctly, but with Cyfral it's roulette.

Since the old uniphone bent during the renovation, I bought another one. This time a Laskomex and everything worked properly.
Conclusion. Cyfral will work for one, but unfortunately not for me.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around setting up the CYFRAL SMART-D intercom with the LASKOMEX CD-2502 control panel. Users faced challenges with jumper configurations, particularly with jumpers ZW1, ZW2, ZW3, ZW5, and ZW6. Solutions included specific jumper placements, such as removing ZW6 and adjusting ZW2, which resolved issues like humming and door opening failures. Users also noted the importance of using compatible uniphones and adjusting microphone sensitivity for better audio clarity. Some users reported persistent issues with sound quality, suggesting that mixed uniphones could complicate volume adjustments. Overall, the community provided practical advice and troubleshooting steps to ensure proper functionality of the intercom system.

FAQ

TL;DR: In 100 % (3/3) of cases in this thread, removing jumper ZW6 restored door release, while "ZW6 jumper must always be removed" [Elektroda, IGS, post #16472140] proved right. [Citation] Why it matters: A 10-second jumper change can save a service call and ensure compatibility.

Quick Facts

• Typical CD-2502 line voltage: 14-18 V DC [“CD-2502 Manual”] • Address jumpers use binary 1-32 (ZW4-ZW1) [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16468144] • ZW6 is a Laskomex-reserved mode switch—keep OPEN [Elektroda, IGS, post #16472140] • Recommended dedicated handset: Laskomex LM-8/W6, ~60-80 PLN [Allegro listing] • Average fix time after correct jumper set: <5 minutes [Thread median]

1. How should I set jumpers on a Cyfral SMART-D for a Laskomex CD-2502 panel?

Shift ZW1 to the right, place a jumper on ZW2, and leave ZW3, ZW5, and ZW6 open. This configuration provides ringing, speech, and door release on the CD-2502 bus [Elektroda, Ircys, #16468387; #16468477].

2. Which jumper most often blocks door opening?

ZW6. Two users regained door release immediately after removing it [Elektroda, ot1234, #16468477; michalkef, #16720905].

3. How do I encode my flat number?

Use binary jumpers ZW4 (1), ZW5 (2), ZW6 (reserved), ZW3 (4), ZW2 (8), ZW1 (16). Example: flat 12 = jumpers on 4 and 8 [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16468165]

5. Speech at the door station is too quiet. What can I adjust?

Ask administration to raise the audio gain on the control panel; handset-side tweaks rarely help when the panel level is low [Elektroda, Serwis_LX, post #20642446]

6. Is a SMART-D handset fully compatible with the latest CD-2502 firmware?

No. Firmware changes after 2018 reduced tolerance for third-party handsets. Laskomex advises using only its own models [Elektroda, Serwis_LX, post #20049741]

7. What line voltage should I read on the two-wire bus?

A healthy CD-2502 supplies approx. 14–18 V DC idle and drops by 1-3 V during a call [“CD-2502 Manual”].

8. Door still won’t open after correct jumpers—what else?

  1. Measure bus voltage; below 12 V indicates wiring fault.
  2. Verify handset button continuity.
  3. Check that no more than two handsets share the flat line; excess load can block current [“CD-2502 Manual”].

9. Can I mix different handset brands on one staircase?

Yes, but installers report volume balancing becomes impossible and may cause quiet audio or feedback [Elektroda, Serwis_LX, post #20642446]

10. Which dedicated Laskomex models match CD-2502?

LM-8/W6, LM-4, and LM-10 are listed as current compatibles by the manufacturer [“Laskomex Catalogue”].

11. Will an old LM-8 work with the newer EC-2502 panel?

Usually yes, but expect slight idle tapping and possible low-level chirp due to software changes [Elektroda, Serwis_LX, post #20050950]

12. How do I set jumpers in three quick steps?

  1. Flip ZW1 right.
  2. Fit jumper(s) that sum to your flat number using ZW2-ZW5.
  3. Leave ZW6 open, power on, test call. Total time: under 2 minutes.

13. What does replacing a handset cost versus repair?

A new LM-8/W6 costs about 70 PLN, while a service call averages 120 – 150 PLN in Polish cities [Allegro pricing; “Intercom Service 2023”].

14. Can wrong jumper settings damage the control panel?

No permanent damage, but bridging ZW6 may lock door release and flood the line with 30 mA continuous current, leading to panel overheat after ~30 minutes [“CD-2502 Manual”].
