    Hi everyone :) .

I am in the process of building a house. A 130m2 house with a usable attic and a garage in the body of the building. The current state is raw closed with electric roller shutters.

I have been scouring the internet for a few weeks on the subject of automation and home security. As the electrical installation will be distributed in the near future, I already wanted to run wires for the house automation. My head is bursting with ideas. I keep coming up with SATEL and KNX.

I have a few questions for wise heads or people who have had the subject before.

Can I use the control panel for home automation or vice versa? E.g. on an integra128 control panel am I able to make an alarm ?

I will cite the situation and the elements I would like to have controlled:

    .
    1. cameras
(4 pcs + videophone) image recording, viewing on the phone, function when the alarm is activated and no one is at home and someone calls the intercom then the image is transmitted to the phone and a photo is taken and the conversation is transmitted to the phone)
    .
    2. garage door
    opening from remote control
    3. entrance gate - open from app or e.g. long lights
    4. lighting - adjust the brightness of the lighting in the living room - can be via dimmer
    5. lighting - Communication lighting switching on for movement after a certain time (e.g. pee at night) but so that it doesn't catch the cat :) .
    6. irrigation - switching on the sprinklers via the app or via a preset weekly programme
    7. recuperation - control from the keypad
    8. alarm - motion detectors + cameras
    9. roller shutters - raise and lower via button at each roller shutter + raise at set time in the morning + weekly programme + holiday programme
10.Underfloor heating - controlled by weather station
    11. holiday simulation + interior lighting + roller shutters
    12.Control of outdoor lighting
13.When the entrance door is opened, it lights up the driveway (if it is after dark), turns on the lighting above the garage and inside the garage.

So far these are my ideas.

Can someone guide me on which system to go for how to do this ?
Price matters the whole low voltage installation is done by myself but when it comes to automation I have a bit of a back.

have you explored the loxone range?
in addition to dedicated solutions there is always the PLC
there are a lot of installations on WAGO because it is the cheapest PLC with a lot of possibilities
Remember that for KNX you have expensive everything.
With the PLC at least you use standard switches

You have the requirements for a 'pretty smart' home. I for one am a fan of Nexo. It can do it all. And even much more.

As colleague zola3 wrote - the requirements are quite high - in my opinion it will be too much for the Satel Integra.

With KNX you can of course do all this without any problems, but the costs will be much higher.

If I could recommend an alternative, I would also suggest looking at systems from Nexwell or Ampio.

Don't forget that it is likely that an electrician doing a standard electrical installation may not be able to properly prepare the wiring for a smart home - each system has its own specifics to which you need to adapt the way you run the installation.

Thanks for the suggestions on companies, I'll be checking them out.
As far as PLC is concerned I had a glimpse of it in my studies but I would have to catch up a lot.

What kind of wires should be laid in the installation. Because I will be starting up a lot later, but I really want the installation to be laid out.

What I mean is that I want to control the roller shutters, for example, with a standard button for each roller shutter, but eventually also automatically.
    And the same with lighting.
And now the question is whether the control should take place in the switchboard or whether I should pull the twisted-pair cables to each receiver which in future will be controlled automatically or from a keypad.
