    Welcome,

I am currently in the process of building a house and laying out the electrical system.
I would like to use home automation. Initially I was thinking of KNX for:
    - Heating - underfloor water ( individual control in each room )
    - External roller shutters - 18pc control depending on the intensity of the sun, the temperature outside, the presence of household members.
    - Lighting: In passageways ( corridor, staircase ) + bathrooms - automatic on/off with presence function and additionally in these rooms day/night lighting, possibly in bedrooms
    - Automation of the entrance gate, wicket.
    - Video intercom with smartphone application
    - On/off lighting in the living room area
+ Alarm system integrated with sensors: flooding, smoke, gas, chloroform, etc.
    + external cameras

Obviously controlled from the app ( on your phone ) and the main panel in the house.

This is what I would like. The installer has priced such a solution in KNX at around 100000PLN. I am looking for a solution that could be done at a lower cost and with similar functionality. Anybody have any suggestions?

At the moment, I'm running a ydyp 4x1.5 cable from each roller shutter to a switchboard without a wall button in the room, hoping to give some control in the switchboard.
Heating I was thinking of a Salus or Tech system.

    IT specialist
Check Ampio, Loxone, Grenton. If it's an alarm then rather a separate system - e.g. Satel, Ropam, can be integrated with SH.
