Hello, I am at the stage of building a single-family house and I would like to build a small smart home system.
It is a house with a usable attic and a small attic, there is a garage in the body of the house and there will be a garage behind the house.
I would like to have monitoring, LAN and alarm (there will be no problem with that). In addition, I would like electric roller shutters supported by the application, but also that there would be a possibility of traditional closing and opening, additionally one button that will close only the bottom and the top. Opening garage doors, an application and, for example, a remote control at home can be a traditional button, an entrance gate opened from a video intercom, an application and a remote control. The wicket is traditionally a key and a solenoid valve. I would also like to turn on the light in the garden with a traditional approach or from the application and add some watering at a later time. I would like it in one system if it were together with the alarm. Monitoring will be separate.

What system do you recommend for it all to be?

The second question is what cables would I need for all of this? Where would it come from (everything from the power box)?

I've been thinking about Satellite, but I don't know which one would be appropriate. Tor
Regarding these applications, it is supposed to be an add-on, in general the application is supposed to be an add-on in everything.
Monitoring will be from dahua, alarm I was just thinking about Satellite, I read something that you can just add "roller shutter control, lighting and garden irrigation, it seems to me that the gates too. I do not know how it works. I know that the video intercom can control the entrance gate and wicket.
So I would have to have a minimum of these two, let's call them "systems" plus possibly these garage doors.

My friend regarding monitoring, I have already dealt with him and your suggestion to remove the defect did not help me at all, and by the way, this post does not apply to monitoring only an intelligent house. Know if you have something wise to say, express yourself on this topic, for the link, thanks, I will definitely use it ;)

But you don't have any smart home components here. From what I can see, you need a simple automation to integrate, which, for example, the mentioned Integra will easily handle with the fact that:

In that case, please describe the solution and close the topic. In the future, this will allow other searchers to find a valuable topic, and the colleague will get additional points. If not, in some time the topic will be closed by one of the moderators and there will be no more points. :)

Hello to all of you again, after reading a lot of information on home automation, I say that I would rather not do it myself, it would be better to leave it to specialists.

But I have a few questions for you because I would like to know something about how a specialist will "stretch the cables"

I would like to control the Integra alarm, roller shutters,
Watering the garden, garage gates and an entrance gate.

Roller shutter control - I would like the roller shutters to be closed separately upstairs and downstairs, e.g. by programming the closing time of the roller shutters, I would also like to close them with the button next to the roller shutter and the central button that will close only the ground floor, and the same floor.
What cables should I lead to the blinds, a twisted pair and a power cord for each of the blinds will be enough?

I would like to control the double-leaf entrance gate from a remote control and a manipulator. Can I connect a video intercom and a gate valve to the Integra?

Controlling garage doors like the entrance gate, what wires for these gates would I need a twisted pair and power supply?

Watering the garden, for example, to set the garden to be watered every two days at a specific time? Also, what cables would I have to lead?

Of course, everything goes to the star type switchboard.

Your questions cannot be answered unequivocally. It all depends on many factors. It's best to present your requirements to some good installer. On the basis of the overall functionality and the hardware solutions used, something can only be determined.

I know I'm reheating an old cutlet, but maybe someone will need it.
A similar range made on the integrated amplifier, and let's not exaggerate, the number of entries on various forums is so huge that if someone knows how to hold soldering irons in his hand, the topic will be overwhelmed. I stretched the whole thing and started it myself, although I found out about the existence of the integrated when I already had walls and the electrician said that it would not be possible to extend the alarm.
    But to the point.
    - alarm - integra 128 and the rest is the choice and preferences of the owner, what detectors where and what
    - roller shutters, radio-controlled mobilus motors, you can connect to the alarm, but there was no point here, because you can buy a driver for PLN 450 which does everything and most importantly knows the condition of the roller shutter, not only up and down, but also how much it is more or less open. He can open, for example, 30%, which in the case of external control you would have to experiment with time. I also left the switches for each roller shutter as manual options
    - gate - any drive with the possibility of giving a signal to some open contact, plugged into the satellite. Placing any number of switches in the house wherever a person needs.
    - wicket - electric strike opened also from the alarm, in my case an analog intercom in which I have a button to open the wicket, I also used the signal from the alarm to open the gate from the intercom.
The only thing that I failed to do was to open the gate after ringing the alarm, I can send a text message but not to call.
    - external / facade lighting also plugged into the satellite, because I did not know what and where I would like to turn on, or at least I know that the satellite will turn off at some time.
There are many possibilities, the neighbor will control the entire home lighting with the satellite.

The installation was built on the Grenton system.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around building a smart home system for a single-family house, focusing on integrating monitoring, electric roller shutters, garage doors, and garden lighting. The user initially considered DIY installation but later leaned towards hiring specialists for better implementation. Key components discussed include the Integra alarm system, which can manage various automation tasks, and the need for proper cabling to support roller shutter control and other functionalities. Suggestions for systems like Domoticz and Home Assistant were made, along with recommendations for brands such as Dahua for monitoring and Satellite for alarms. The importance of integrating traditional controls with app-based solutions was emphasized, particularly for gate and shutter operations.
