Hello, I would like to make outdoor lighting around my house. I want it to light up while I am away using a pre-programmed F&F PCZ-521 timer. This will of course be implemented using a contactor which will power the lighting wires. I also want to be able to switch on the lighting while I am present without using the timer. I.e. I will want to switch the lighting on with an ordinary switch. Will not applying voltage to the contactor coil via a normal switch damage the timer? Because the timer gives voltage to the same contactor coil when switching the contact. Of course both signals are from the same phase. I also know that it will not be possible to switch off the light while it is switched on by a switch. I am only interested in whether, if I apply voltage to contact no. 5 while it is switched on, it will not cause damage to the timer? And another question. Could I get a diagram of how manual or automatic switching is carried out using a 1-0-2 modular switch for street lighting on an ordinary three-phase contactor ?

    .

The clock contacts are completely independent of its power supply. Therefore they can be connected freely, without restriction, including in parallel with some other switch. You do not need to stick to the example diagram in the instructions.

It will be possible. For example, if you use the 1-0-2 switch you mentioned, you can have three modes on that switch: clock controlled, off completely independent of the clock and on manually independent of the clock.

Such an example sketch on the fly:

F&F Timer PCZ-521: Manual & Automatic Outdoor Lighting Control Setup .

This is how it will work:
position I - operation by clock,
position 0 - permanent switching off,
position II - permanent switching on.
