Hello, let me get straight to the point. My problem is that when I start the game (GTA V, Blade & Soul and others of this type) on the highest requirements that the hardware should allow me, the game stutters. It looks like this, that, for example, when I'm driving a car in a gta, sometimes there is a slight clipping, when I hit an object, no matter what the crash, the jamming is more intense. Everything runs smoothly between trim moments. With blade and soul, it happens about every 3.4 or 5 seconds. What could be the causes of these problems. I don't know if it has any impact but the laptop was bought in England and the plug was British. At this point, I am using an "adapter". Could this cause a drop in laptop performance? The drivers were uploaded by a friend, and to fix this problem with clipping, I downloaded the latest from the nVidia website, while the games worked even worse.

Hello. Enter your laptop model. As with any laptop, check the temperatures. Laptops are unsuitable for gaming, not even those generally sold as "gaming" products. Usually, under high load, the components reach the temperatures at which their speed starts to slow down (in order to cool quickly). Then there is a serious slowdown or even a jam. The situation may repeat itself.

Here how much I managed to do with what I at least understood. As for playing on a laptop, unfortunately I couldn't buy a desktop computer due to my frequent trips. I've seen videos where people start GTA on the highest demands, it's nice. The graphics card had, for example, a GTX 1050 or 1060 plus a worse processor. So what can cause such a low performance in a laptop. I recently saw on the ceneo or Allegro laptope air conditioners that are attached to the air outlet and it is supposed to cool. However, at the moment the game is not as smooth and smooth as it should be. I don't know what to call it, it's not even about these jams anymore, but after yesterday's driver update it just isn't smooth. I am set to use a high-performance card in the nVidia panel. The problem with the games is immediately after switching on, I do not have to wait for everything to heat up.

GTAV is fired on the highest, I played the moments and then I made a screen. I would like to add that I have just finished playing fortnite and the game is running smoothly except that it just crashes every 5 seconds, sometimes even for 2 seconds, which is very disturbing.
Below I will give the temperatures for the end of the game.

These measurements are not worth much, because a colleague plays, then starts the application, when everything has time to cool down and takes a screenshot (and I suppose it is after the time shown at the bottom of HWInfo). Have a colleague run HWInfo, minimize it, then start the game (hwinfo runs in the background), play for 20 minutes, shut down the game, return to hwinfo and then present the screenshots of the measurements. Measurements from the load on the desktop alone are worth nothing.

Insert Hwinfo with a window break - you have arrows at the bottom of the window and it does more columns.
You MAY insert all the data, not some slices.

Knew thing basically basic - win10 and HDD = it can't run smoothly.

    Next case

you can see 6033 MB of RAM there - I do not know where such miracles came from but this is a problem.

BECAUSE the last problem related to the above two is the complete VRAM filling in graphics and with 6GB RAM and HDD it has to keep clipping.

And what to do in such a situation. In fact, GTA shows me that I have 6 GB of Ram. How can i solve these probley? As for windows 10 and HDD, I will buy SSD and reinstall it, but what next with this memory? I am green in all these blocks so I would like to ask you step by step if possible and willing. Thank you in advance.

Show the resmon screen of the memory / memory tab.

Another problem arose. It had already performed before, but I installed older drivers and it was ok again. I don't know how, but it came back again. Namely, after right-clicking on the desktop, it is not possible to enter the nVidia panel, there is simply no such option in the bar. When I try to enter through the "magnifying glass" I get an error like in the screen. Are GTA and other games launching on Intel? If tk, how to fix it?

So yes, unfortunately even if the laptop can already see the RAm memory, the problem still persists. Details: plays a game of fortnite and stutters when the opponent comes (most often), and sometimes stutters in a complete wilderness. Unfortunately, it is impossible to play with such a problem. However, I do not want to regret buying this laptop because it is clearly able to withstand even fortnite for the highest requirements. I would like to add that I play at the lowest settings except for the viewing distance, texture quality and surface smoothing. Problems with such jamming also occurred on the old paw, while the jams were less frequent and shorter. The old laptop had an i3, I don't remember what generation), I don't remember the 6GB of the GTX750 or 770 frame exactly. I can't believe the current hardware is too weak. I would also like to add that while playing GTA Online with a friend, he told me that his video memory is 3GB and that GTA only uses 1.5. For me, the memory is 6GB, and it takes 4.6 (with the same settings). My friend has a desktop computer, but there shouldn't be such a difference. Mouse lag also occurs for me and not for him.

    RAM repaired itself from nothing?

Now, if you do not have an nvidia panel, Nvidia does not work for sure. You need to reinstall the nvidia drivers.

When you run gta game on nvidia, insert screenshots of all hwinfo sensors - the game is to be run in the background and you run hwinfo before the game.

Ok, I have screenshots. I was playing fortnite for about 2.5 hours. Let me just mention that the clipping is actually almost gone, sometimes one or two will happen but sporadically. When it comes to GTA, my friend told me that their optimization is not fairy-tale-like, but at this point, switching from ultra and very high to high settings, the game can be smooth, but there is still a mouse delay.

If they appear, they appear even at the very beginning of the game (fortnite)

As I mentioned, the graphics in fortnite are at the lowest, apart from the viewing distance and textures. I can try GTA, unfortunately not for this time, because tomorrow I am leaving for 2 days, so maybe I will be able to do it on Friday. I understand that this is a laptop, but shouldn't I really be able to run smoothly, for example GTA on high, without even delaying the mouse's reaction?

I could ask for an explanation of the difference between using the video memory on my laptop in a GTA game where I have 6GB and uses 4.6GB, and my friend's desktop computer where his memory is 3GB and takes 1.5GB.

I am sorry that I was not active for so long, but the trip took a long time. So yeah, I went back and did some research in GTA settings and it works fine, some MSAA settings, something like that. As for Fortnite, it hasn't been stuttering since I was rummaging around in this RAM and it started detecting normally 8 and not 6GB plus this system optimization. Other games like Blade & Soul or Black Desert are a dream. Thank you very much for your help. Now just out of curiosity, can the mouse lagging also be caused by outdated USB drivers or not too much?

In what cases? Always or under load in games?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a laptop experiencing stuttering issues while playing demanding games like GTA V and Blade & Soul. The user reports performance drops, particularly during high-action moments, and suspects that using a British plug adapter may affect performance. Responses suggest checking laptop temperatures, optimizing system settings, and ensuring the correct graphics drivers are installed. The user later identifies that the RAM was not being fully recognized, which was resolved through system optimization. Despite improvements, some stuttering persists, particularly in GTA V, leading to further inquiries about potential causes, including USB driver issues. The conversation highlights the challenges of gaming on laptops and the importance of hardware configuration and driver management.
