    Hello, my radio is rns315 H52 SW0319, I wanted to update the firmware from the forum, available is 0330, however, after recording a disc with different speeds and different discs, after inserting into the radio, a CD error message, I have a question on the German firmware forum for rns 315 in a lower version 0321 and 0329 but from seat and skoda will it fit vw? will not change the logo?

    I downloaded your zip files in the appropriate version for me, i.e. 2015. I combined into one file. I unpacked. I made an ISO image of it.

    I name the file as in CRC. Unfortunately, I do not agree with the size a bit - literally several dozen bytes.

    When installing in the car, it reaches 9% and starts over and over again.

    Should crc32 = CFC95B12 from the last crc zip file be used somewhere?

    I would like to update my RNS 315 because since i've bought the car, i cannot see on the radio when i stream via bluetooth the song info, i cannot skip or pause. It just appears "Bluetooth Audio".
    My software version is 0010; Part number is 3c0035279.
    Does someone know what can I do to fix this thing? Should I update the firmware and how can I do that?

    I have a VW Touran from 2011. I was able to read the following data from the radio: Part number: 3C0035279 Software version: 0010 System hardware version: H05 Nawigation data basis EU West W01

    The menu in the car has nothing to do with navigation.

    Due to the fact that there are still questions about the PL versions, I would like to point out that the software posted by zem is UPDATES .

    If your radio does not have the PL language, the software available here will not change it.

    From what I associate, most of the RNS 315 has the PL language, but if it is not, there are companies that have specially prepared BINs and offer such a Polish translation.

    What about changing firmware from NAR (US version) to EU? I know that someone has a firmware but how to change it. Hardware is not the same on US and EU unit, EU unit has 6GB memory 4 2GB and NAR has 4GB of storage 1x4GB (for storing maps). East version is lower than 4GB and can be stored, but most important is to change firmware! But how? Custom firmware, changing chips and installing by programmer or?

    I burned 7 tiles and none of them wants to read, I made an image of the disc, I uploaded it directly and it is still linden.
    I’ve recorded up to 1x as well as 4x and 10x
    The same thing every time.

    I have version 263, I want 270.
    I do it mainly because v12 maps do not want to upload, I heard that you need a newer soft. Can anyone help?

    The files are not working. I got the file for RNS315 from the website and it was uploaded the first time.
    The albums have to be, for example, Verbatim, cheaper and any kind of company will not work.

    The author of the post wanted PLN 100 for recording such a plate. If you have the right files, the cd error does not pop up.
    First album and it went without any problems. It's worth looking around on the internet. I did not get the ones from the post - I only lost money and burned 12 tiles unnecessarily.

    For those who get Error CD this is how I made it done on my RNS 315 with 0319 successfully updated to 0330:

    1. Extract VW_EU_1508-0330_RNS_315_2013.iso ( I used WinRAR), you will get 4 files
    2. Using CDBurnerXP program burn all 4 files as "data disc" ( I used a Verbatim CD-RW at 10x speed)
    3. Insert disc and start update, process took about 5 minutes

    I have the same problem. CD doesn't work. It gives "CD error".
    I found solution. My first CD that I burned, used UDF-file system. RNS-315 doesn't recognise UDF-file system. Install doesn't start. Screenshot showing CD information with UDF file system noted as a problem for RNS-315.
    Next CD I burned using CDBurnerXP just like faurionutz described in post #57 and now CD works! Reason is that CDBurnerXP uses ISO9660-file system by default.

    SUMMARY: CD must be created using file system ISO9660. File system UDF doesn't work.
