I don't know if you've already figured it out - I had a similar problem, I'll tell you a few steps that allowed me to add the device by trial and error.

    1. Reset the WiFi module according to the manufacturer's instructions.
    2. Grab your cell phone, put it on search for networks and get as close to the air conditioner indoor unit as possible until you see a new WiFi network with a strange name. I had to bring the phone closer to a distance of literally a few centimeters.
    3. Now try to connect your device to WiFi via the app.

    If it doesn't go:

    4. On another smartphone, make a WiFi router by giving it the same network name (SSID) and password as you have in your home WiFi.
    5. Repeat steps 1-3, but putting this phone with the WiFi router turned on right next to the air conditioner (several cm).
    6. You should be able to connect the device to WiFi shared from your mobile.
    7. As soon as you see the device in the application, turn off the WiFi network shared from the mobile
    8. The device should successfully connect to your home network.

Let me know if it worked.

Wifi 2.4GHz, network settings as basic as possible, i.e. WPA / WPA2 Personal, operating modes b, g, sees and connects without a problem, after pairing you change e.g. to WPA2 Personal and the operating mode does not work nicely.

hello - i have a problem with setting up wifi too. My air conditioner is SEVRA Ecomi 3.5kW, unit internal SEV-12FV/I. When I try to reset the wifi module by clicking health 8 times, nothing happens. I don't have any extra sound (I only have sound on every click). I don't know if I reset. I also don't have a cooling button to try another method. So I clicked did the above step.
When I try to move on, I get the option to connect, but I don't have any wifi network listed. I can enter it with my finger, i.e. name and password, but it does not connect. I don't know what the problem is..

After the reset, the wifi module beeps probably twice. So if you don't have sound then the reset hasn't been done. Contact Wienkra for support, maybe you have a damaged wifi module if you are unable to do a reset.

    Hi,

I have an AUX Freedom 12FH device.
The problem with pairing the device occurred immediately after the assembly was completed by the team. The guys couldn't spoil anything because the wifi module was factory installed. I suspected that the module may be factory-damaged - I was wrong.

The APPLICATION: ACfreedom turned out to be the culprit. I tried various pairing options - including those described by my colleague above with setting the name and password from the second phone as a spot - this method works normally, because I have other devices connected to the wifi and I managed to cheat them in this way, BUT it didn't work in the case of air conditioning.

I tried to disconnect / connect the module, completely disconnected the power supply to the indoor / outdoor air conditioner - nothing helped, but the strange thing was that the wifi module was reset normally - that is, the "emergency" button on the air conditioner and 8xHealth - reset worked normally.

What helped? I uninstalled the ACfreedom application and carried out the entire application installation and configuration procedure from scratch according to instructions. I set basic security on the router as suggested by the other colleague. One thing - after reinstalling the application - it also failed the first time - 7-8 pairing attempts were needed (pairing itself without reinstalling the app) and only after that 7-8 times the air conditioner appeared in the app.

Let me know if it helped ;-)

The application in the older version v1.3.0 works much better than the current one after design changes.

Any other protips on this topic? The first pairing went right away, no problem. But recently something stopped working for me and without thinking I removed the air conditioning from the app, and I couldn't connect it back, which is a pity, because it has one useful function that I don't have on the remote control. In general, this application looks abandoned, nothing has happened to it for a year. I also tried on v 1.3 but also to no avail.

Someone managed to solve the problem? . I got this kit from today and I can't configure the AC Freedom app, it won't connect to my network. I tried on 2 different phones, Samsung and Realme, WiFi 2.4 Ghz, even without security and failure, I tried with the hotspot from the phone the same. I really regret that I didn't pay the extra PLN 700 to Gree. In addition, the main unit is a cow on steroids, the big wall in the room.

I don't know, all 5 AUX units work for me, regardless of whether they are old-type modules like freedom or wifi usb jsmart modules. In addition, old-type modules also work in jsmart and control and connect to jsmart without any problems. Do you have GPS locations on your phone when adding the device?

Yes, the app somehow forces you to turn on the location. When I click on wireless networks, after resetting the wifi module using the Heath button on the remote control, the AC-xxx network will appear, so the module works, but the app cannot connect to it?

I cleared the program cache and tried again on the Realme phone and it went, the difference is that I reset the WiFi module when it is mentioned in the instructions not earlier.

I had a problem today too. I used all the options from the beginning given in this post. Got it from another phone. Exactly Realme. And in addition, during the connection, I repeated the WiFi reset in the climate control and it caught on one time.

Can this module be replaced with something better or is it paired with the application and hardware?

Even in Leroy Marlin they have such a module for PLN 99, but there is no list of devices it fits, so I think it would probably work.

I was finally able to add devices. I put out a 2.4GHz network from a Galaxy S21 and it worked from an app installed on some old oppo. I noticed that when adding devices on samsung there was a message in which the SSID of the network was enclosed in two double quotes - ""network_name"". On oppo, the name of the network was between single characters ... And the strangest thing was that it did not connect to the network displayed with the Galaxy S10 ... After adding devices, everything works very well. I lost a bit of nerves with this... Thanks!

Hello, today the air conditioner was installed at my place. 3 h I agonized until I found a way to this grandpa! Samsung S20FE when searching showed the network in double quotes. Creating new networks in phones etc did not give anything. Until I finally found a way. I made the installation of the application on the Lenovo tablet - there the same network was in single quotation marks. When searching and adding the network already in the application every half minute I pressed 8xhealth until it caught on. I added the air conditioner normally, saved its name, etc. After that I installed the app on the previously described Samsung, logged into the same account as on the tablet and note - the air conditioner is already saved. The control fully works :)

I also tried Samsung and Motorola, it didn't work. Only Realme made it. Phones must be locked somehow. The main thing is to add to wifi and the rest will work. The issue here is the connection of the air conditioning with the home router ... still no problem.

Hello, A year ago I was struggling just like everyone here....
I tried to connect with the samsung S10e phone through the router at home to no avail, I set up the same network on the other phone and after hard attempts I succeeded.
Today I tried to start the app and it logged me out and I couldn't log back in. The fun started from the beginning...
    - the option from that year did not bring any effect.
    I did this:
    - in the router on the 2.4G network to which the phones were connected, I set WPA / WPA2 Personal, operating modes n (I do not know if it contributed to the connection of the device)
    - I connected the phones to the same 2.4G network (older and newer phone)
    - I reset the Wi-Fi in the air conditioner by pressing HEALTH 8 times and after a few seconds on the Xcover4 phone (older phone) I gave connect or send the password to the unit (he found the unit without a problem and connected)
    - I logged in to the S10e and the air conditioner added :)
To sum up, I was unable to connect on the Samsung S10e phone (newer generation wifi only on Samsung Xcover 4 old dead :)

    Dear Electrodes,

I had a problem with this crap too. Setting the Wi-Fi mode to B/G/N and resetting it several times (8x health) during device installation helped. I wasted 4 hours on this.

I don't recommend it, but it might help someone.

    Hello
I'll join the thread and sell a tip that worked for me:
My wifi password was 64 characters long, I had to reduce it to 32. Only then did it connect (I put my mobile on the air conditioner to be sure).
From what I remember, I found this information in the printed manual, the application probably does not suggest it ...
It is also mentioned there that the name of the network cannot have spaces and characters other than alphanumeric (for me, the minus in the name does not cause problems), the password must contain only letters and numbers.

A small note: in my case, the wifi dongle from the air conditioner does not advertise at all with its own "app/network with a strange name" - even after a reset ...

    I managed like this:
    1. I turned off the router at home
    2. I started a hotspot on the phone (band 2.4 only) with the SSID and password identical to the router
    3. connection from the other phone, according to the instructions from AC Freedom, runs without any problems
    4. I read the MAC address needed to add it to the router
    5. I turned off the hotspot, turned on the router, added MAC AC and everything works beautifully.

Hello. I will write for posterity how to make it work. Of course, the module in the air conditioning must be reset by tapping it twice, then in the application we add the device, then we select the air conditioner, then we press where I marked red in the picture, we enter the password of the wireless network, then we search for a wifi network from the air conditioner's wi-fi module, we connect to it and then in the next step, we connect to your wi fi network and everything works quickly and great. How to write something will help

    Hello
And I have a problem with registering in the AC Freedom application because when authorizing the e-mail address or phone number, a 4-digit code comes and the application requires a 6-character code
I've tried reinstalling the apps several times, but still the same
    Anyone have any idea??

    Hello
I had a problem with the configuration of the application and AUX 3.5kw. I deleted the account and set up again. Each time comes the account activation code 4-digit. After the 2nd activation it enters the device code again, it looks like it's general to all devices, that is - 6364d. Tel. redmi note 9 pro android 11. enters net name and password. I turn on location and bluetooth. Reset the clima - Cool and "+". Info confirm reset - I uncheck. Spins the configuration, I zoom in on the clima and this time it went. How it will come out financially in relation to IR heating, I'm just testing.
