Hello
I have a technical problem of being able to fit myself with a suitable remote control to control, among other things, LED lighting in the house.
I have 12 circuits with LED lighting in the house made (RGB, RGBW, fiber optics with its own DMX controller and Ledy analog RGBW , ez with DMX controller.
In general I have a board with an AtXmega128 processor that I control, relays that switch on my LED power supplies from the primary and from the secondary (pulse power supplies) the circuit controls all the lighting systems.
I want to attach a LAN chip to the board so that I can control the lighting from the local network (programming some colour transition programs and etc).
I am faced with the choice of a remote control to control the lighting, at first I thought of 433Mhz radio remotes, but soon realised that there is virtually no choice in such remotes, while there are plenty of 2.4Ghz radio remotes. Can anyone tell me how the communication takes place and which 2.4Ghz receiver/transmitter to buy, which I could plug into my ATxmega128 board and adapt the remote control codes to my needs ?
I know there will be a lot of questions as to why I didn't use ready-made solutions.... or you will be writing me to use such. Today I have a rather uphill task, because I have the whole system on the ATxmega128 ready, and the only thing I have to do is to add the radio module and pair the remote control, and this is how I would like to finish it.
I would like to ask those more familiar with this matter for any information that may help me to complete my project.
