    Hello All 🙂
I have a few questions. I have made a suspended led lighting shelf in my room, for which I need just under 20m of led tape. I have already purchased the 2 sets from action shown in the photo, so a total of 4 x 5m. One set is 2 x 5m connected in parallel to one power supply and 24v 24w wifi controller. I would like to connect this in series and control the whole ribbon via one controller. And I don't know how to solve this. Should I give an amplifier and power supply every 10m, or is there any other way to do it? And what kind of tape is it anyway? Rgb w or rgb cct? It doesn't say on the box or in the instructions if the 24w applies to 2 tapes together or each separately. Can anyone give any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help 🙂😁 Regards Combination of 20m of LED rgb + tunable white tape under one driver Combination of 20m of LED rgb + tunable white tape under one driver Combination of 20m of LED rgb + tunable white tape under one driver Combination of 20m of LED rgb + tunable white tape under one driver Combination of 20m of LED rgb + tunable white tape under one driver

On the power supply (driver) it says 24W and it is for connecting 2x5m (because it is a set) so it looks like 2x5m has 24W. One driver is unlikely to be enough to connect two sets of LEDs directly due to its power of 24W. Two sets is 48W. It can be done by adding an additional electronic circuit but the question is whether it is worth playing with it if you have control from an application and operating two sets separately will probably take a few seconds more than a single driver❓😁

I bought a 150w power supply (a little too "big", but better this way than the other way around hehe), maybe one day I will buy something more concrete, then the power supply will come in handy 😁 and to this a signal amplifier. I plan to give the amplifier halfway along the tape, and connect everything to this one power supply (at the beginning and at the amplifier). Will anything come of this? Or not to combine and connect everything under two separate controllers? Just to add, that the total length of the tape will eventually be less than 15m, not 20m as I wrote at the beginning 😉

    Added after 6 [minutes]:

And one more question 😁 can I wire this all under a separate light switch and use that switch to turn on the tape? Or does it already have to be a proper controller?

In my opinion two separate controllers because the controller has 24W max. Do not combine. If you are concerned about the space in the socket, then in my opinion it is better to make an extension cord for 2 sockets and insert the 1st plug into the wall socket. It is a waste of time to play around with it and there is a risk that if something goes wrong you will damage the controller. If you want it to work with 1 controller and 1 power supply, you have to rework the controller to be able to control double power. You can use a circuit breaker, it will not change anything in the operation.
