    Level 1
From the ruins of an old mill – I have created stylish holiday flats. I'm towards the end of the development and want to implement full smart-home automation. The challenge I'm dreading is the demarcation of access levels. On the one hand, the customer, who can set himself, for example, from the „smart thermostat” to a convenient temperature, and on the other hand, the – administrator who must be able to set parameters and „scenarios” overriding (e.g. temperature forks, or heating parameters when the rental ends).
The scenarios I have planned are quite extensive. For example, with regard to the control of the sun blinds: while in winter – it's nice when the sun supporting itself against the large glazing reheats the rooms – in summer it's quite the opposite… And here, too, there's the customer who sometimes wants to lower the blinds for privacy.
I'm thinking – although I don't know if it's right – that the individual automation elements in each flat should be connected by ZigBee control panels, and that complex scenarios should be implemented from IFTTT. Although, on the other hand, I'm worried about what will happen if the network hangs up, or some IFTTT scenario
Am I thinking right? Or maybe here I can find someone who would agree to support me with their knowledge (priv)?
    Greetings.

If I were to ask any specific questions then:

1./ how / at what level, can I set an unlimited "spread" of temperature in the premises? Can I do this at the ZigBee mesh network level?

2./ we have a device (e.g. radiator thermostat) operating under ZigBee, compatible with IFTTT. How will it react to a situation where someone manually sets it to 22 degrees - and IFTTT says: "the rental is over, I want it to be 16". Will it listen?
