Hi
I'm planning to do automation in a 70m2 flat in a block of flats on the ground floor + garage on the ground floor. Preliminary assumptions:
- control of lighting (simulation of presence in the house, switching off all sources with one button, starting the light with a motion sensor, switching off when no one is in the room)
- heating control (lowering of temperature at night, during trips, raising of temperature in bathroom only after returning from work)
- TV control, audio system
- Garage door sensor (children open the garage door non-stop by remote control and the neighbours tell me in the evening that the door is open)
That's just for starters.
Then there is the house with garden
(Here in part of the house I can run additional cables and use probably KNX (I read that the most popular and most gadgets) the same in the garden but part of the house is finished and needs to be done wirelessly.
After an initial analysis of the market I found (and here quite a surprise) quite a few manufacturers. So the question is which system to choose? Grenton, Fibaro, xComfort, eHouse, F&F, and of the wired ones Loxone, Nexwell, Ampio, Comexio, F&F. Grenton writes on its website that there is no problem with operating wireless (Z-Wave) as well as wired modules (I do not know if it works in KNX).
Apparently if the system works in X-Wave then everything should work together, but as I look through various topics this is not quite the case. Please tell me what is worth investing in to be able to expand the system later.
