    Hello,
I want to make myself a living room with a smart installation, controllable. There I would like to have control of heating, air conditioning, blinds, whole house monitoring centre, intercom and some audio.
Could someone please advise what to buy and how to position the sockets, air conditioning, heating, etc.?
I've got wires running from the distribution board from B10, B16 B20 fuses (for heating and air conditioning for example).
Below are pictures of the living room (extension).

the topic is mega. if you want to do it yourself, start with this https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRLJqSvuJHRySjdGRVH9Kmw.
You can build a control system on Domoticz or Home Assistant and then add individual components. Not all devices integrate well (e.g. air conditioning) so you need to delve a little deeper into the subject to know what to choose. Good luck

It all depends on the level of knowledge of the subject author. And the second issue is specifically what he wants. When building an installation, we need to know exactly what we are going to control and how. There are various ways of controlling heating, but the first thing you need to know is what kind of heating it is going to be, e.g. gas, electric, maybe oil or eco-pea. Further on, you need to find out what manufacturers of a given type of heating offer, what kind of heating boiler controllers etc. The same applies to other systems, as my colleague wrote above "a huge topic".

The only thing I can advise is to do deep boxes, have neutral in the switches and take care of the Ethernet so that you have coverage of the whole building.
Then it will be much easier to do something without damage by installing a shelly or sonoff mini for example.

Where you are sure you need cable control lay cables.
Think about what you want to integrate with each other and adapt the installation accordingly.

I am in the process of installing the system at my construction site and so I want to have control of the roller shutters I have ordered roller shutters with just the motor without control and I know that I will use Shelly 2.5 which I want to place in the switchboard and I will install the system accordingly.
With regard to air-conditioning, I have researched air-conditioning units and I know that I want to have local control of the air-conditioning from a local controller on the wall and I have laid the cable from the indoor unit to the controller as recommended by the manufacturer.
In consultation with the central heating boiler service engineers, I'm planning to install gas heating and access to the control system via the Internet, so we're going to install a UTP 5kate LAN network in the place where the cooker will be, as well as a cable to the local controller.

In general I only care about this one room, the rest is OK. I want the heating and others to be on electricity, as I am setting up photovoltaic panels. I would like someone to advise me on what would be worth doing in such a room, how to position the heating, air-conditioning, etc.
I'd rather do it myself, but I need some ideas for this room.
