I just got a couple of these bulbs today and was happy to see they worked with cloudcutter and flashed OpenBeken no problem.

I took one apart to figure out the pinout and used my fluke to these out:

    Pin 6 = BP5758D_CLK
    Pin 8 = BP5758D_DAT

Flags: 4, 10, 12, 37 (tried 18 and gave me very fast strobing)

The bulb turns on, but the color pinout is completely off. First off, I have not gotten any color at all, just the 2700-6500k. Second, I am not able to figure out what pins do what and have been tinkering with them for a good hour now.

Was wondering if there was an easier way to figure out the pins than trial and error in the tools tab.

    Thanks for the help!

There is a tool for that, have you seen it?

Yes, that is the tool I have been using. I am not having any luck getting any color or figuring out what pins are toggle/dim/etc. Seems like each configuration I try just does random things with color temperature and brightness. I can't figure out a pattern to any of it.

I'm a dummy....it is SM 2235. Now I can figure out the pinout. I'll update this post when I figure it out, in case someone else is looking for this bulb to convert.

    Pin 6: SM2235CLK
    Pin 8: SM2235DAT

Those chips do not have any data validation, so random colors are a good sign of using wrong kind of configuration, like BP5758 for SM2235, like you did above.
