Hi. I have a request to the experts, can someone explain to me how it is with this Sonoff and Supla? I have a bit of a headache with so much information and somehow I cannot digest it and put it together in my head. Let's say I have a Sonoff Basic R2 with a factory Evelink. In order to replace it with Suple, what should I do? Generate myself the appropriate software on the Suple website and upload it via e.g. USB TTL CP2102? Because I don't get it anymore 🤔

Yes, you have written well. You need to change the firmware exactly as you wrote.

Ok, so I have to buy e.g. something like this:
Switching from the factory Evelink to Supla on the Sonoff Basic R2 via USB TTL CP2102

Configure the appropriate software and install Supla?

And please give me a hint if one Sonoff Basic will handle my garage door control including a reed switch and one or two more temperature sensors?

I'm still a bit confused which software I should upload to the Sonoff.... Is it the one you generate yourself according to your needs on the page for generating softwares or should I get to know it from the Supla.org website - the download tab and there are also several options for downloading there. Which one should I upload? There are two divergent information on YouTube, one colleague generates a soft for himself and the other downloads from supla.org. which option is correct?
