Understanding Alternate WiFi Usage in OpenBeken BK7231T/WB2S with Firmware Version 1.17.221

I have a question about WiFi configuration: When is the setting "Alternate WiFi (used when first one is not responding)" actually used? I put in two SSID&Password combinations, and the primary always works, but the secondary (alternate) is never used, even when I move outside of the range of the first WiFi.

Maybe it still sees the first WiFi, although weak, and tries that instead of the alternate?

What I would like is to be able to enter a list of WiFi SSID&Password combinations, and let OpenBeken always connect to the one that is the strongest. This allows me to put the same config on all my devices, without deciding beforehand where in the house they will be. All my WiFi access points connect to the same LAN anyway.

    I'm testing with BK7231T / WB2S and firmware version 1.17.221.

This field is currently a placeholder, there is no logic implemented for that. I was supposed to do the logic just after adding it but then some other issues arisen and I had no time for that

If you know C, you can add the logic yourself and open the pull request, otherwise I will try to add it soon myself.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

OK, I would love to try! I know C, but the tricky part is getting to know the codebase. I'll put it on my to-do list, but can't guarantee a timeframe.
