    Hi
I have an ST-480 controller at an eco-pea cooker which locally switches on or off the operation of the central heating circulation pump for radiators in an old house. Due to the age of the operators at the moment, a simple switch is simply inserted on the control/power cable from the controller to the pump, on/off, 1/0 to 230V. If you want to turn on the heating to the radiators you simply have to go down and turn it on or off. My question is whether there is any possibility of remotely switching this switch on without going down to the cellar via radio (e.g. wifi) or using an unused telephone cable (four-wire wire) so that I can have a switch on the top and use it to switch the pump on/off. All the remote switches offered on the portals are wifi switches but with smartphone control and this is a no-go for older people. With a radio there would have to be coverage through two ceilings from Ackermann. Similarly, remote operation of this controller due to the complexity of switching on/off the central heating pump.
Thank you for any hints on such remote control in a non-smart home yet.

Hello, if there is a WiFi range, I recommend in parallel with the switch to connect a small relay, controlled from the application level in the smartphone (TUYA, Home Assistant)eg: https://allegro.pl/oferta/przekaznik-gniazdko-wlacznik-wifi-tuya-smart-16a-13072414378, the cost is small and it works properly. I have several such controllers for various purposes and they work well.
I hint that from China you can find even cheaper, such a device, and delivery is already up to 14 days.
    Greetings.

    Good morning and thank you
    1. In this controller simply L and N respectively in parallel are connected with the current on/off switch. What are the contacts S1 and S2 for ?
    2. Controlling such a switch only with a Smartphone ? Or is it possible, however, with a classic on/off switch only remotely as in the app ?
    Thank you.

I once did something similar to switch off the entire cooker on an SSR relay. I just used a 12V DC control/signal and a simple ON-OFF button, because I did not want to pull the 230V AC cable. There are different SSR relays that can be controlled by AC or DC.

Good morning and thank you for your answers.
From this it would seem that it would be best to simply short-circuit the appropriate 0 / 1 switch to the S1 and S2 contacts using an ordinary two-wire telephone cable.
In the meantime, before purchasing, I decided on the Tech ST-480 controller for the time being to connect this ordinary 0 / 1 switch on the telephone cable (two wires, about 30mb) to the room controller and switch the controller Standard and the CO pump control to YES in the installer menu. Now it seemingly works. The pump only comes on when I turn the switch on. However, I have observed that sometimes when the switch is off, the pump will switch on by itself even though the wires are not shorted. It is as if something is shorting the contacts at the room regulator input. Would a capacitor have to be connected in parallel to eliminate this behaviour ?
    Thank you for your reply.
