Hello, I am making a request to experts in the subject. I own 2 pieces of Chinese Tuya WIFI switches. They are paired in such a way that when one switch is switched on, this one automatically switches on the other switch via the scene. The analogous principle is for switching off: the device connected to switch 1 switched off = the device connected to switch 2 automatically switched off. Everything works as it should until there is a power outage (interruption of the power supply to the house). When the power goes out, even for a moment, the appliances do not return to their preset operating state. When the power comes back on, they are out of the network and have to be found again in the system and the scenes have to be programmed.
Is there any advice and a way for this to happen so that after a power outage and when the power comes back on, the devices themselves find the network and work as programmed in Tuya?

In the Device Update tab of the switches I have something like this:
    Main Module: V1.1.3
    MCU Module V1.1.3

    I would appreciate your help.

If it forgets the setting after a power outage then in my opinion this is some kind of fault. I have this in one outdoor lamp and as a solution I used to replace it with another one. I use switches in such a housing for the Tuya system and they do not forget the settings.

Hmm, a bit strange as both would be damaged. Is it possible to upload some newer software there?

Use the search on Elektroda with the keyword "MS-104". Colleagues seem to have done something with this switch, I haven't.

Can anyone change the firmware on these switches? Unfortunately the switches go permanently offline after a power failure. Can anyone help?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced with Tuya WiFi switches that require reconfiguration after a power outage. The user describes a setup where two switches are interconnected to control devices automatically. However, following a power cut, the switches lose their network connection and settings, necessitating manual reconfiguration. Responses suggest that this behavior may indicate a fault in the switches, with one user recommending replacing the faulty unit. Others inquire about potential firmware updates or modifications to resolve the issue, with references to specific models like the MS-104 for further investigation.
