How do I reduce the update frequency of DTH11 in OpenBK BK7231T?

Hello, I have added a DTH11 temperature and humidity sensor to the switch. The sensor works OK, there are temperature and humidity readings but I have a problem with too frequent status updates - every few seconds. In tasmot there is a telemetry period, here I have not found an option that would work similarly. It would be great if e.g. every 5 or 10 minutes an average value would be sent. I have now found an add-on for HA that averages the value over 10 minutes, but it seems to me that "attacking" the server in this way puts a bit of a strain on it.
