Hi. I'm in the process of laying electrics in my flat, by the way I wanted to automate something. So far, I am most interested in how to lay wires / twisted pairs.
I am mainly interested in controlling lighting with an app, remote control or battery switch. As there are so many systems out there, I'm wondering if it's possible to wire them first and then decide on something. I'm probably going to go for a Chinese one.
Do I have to run at least a 3 x1.5 cable from each light point and switch to the distribution board?
Do I need to lay additional twisted-pair cables?
I would like to place the relays and power supplies in the switchboard, and possibly add a module for a plug socket somewhere.
In the corridor, there will be gu10 luminaires switched on in the stairs as the main light. In addition, there will be an LED strip after the motion detector, or the same fittings with the option of dimming so that there is not too much light at night. The detector can be programmed from the app.
In the rooms, a dimming option, possibly remote illumination of a shelf.
I'm looking for ideas on socket control, is there a sensible application?
Additionally, a single camera view of the door would be useful, or a judas with camera.
Which system do you recommend? In the cloud or local?
    Thank you and best regards.

In my humble opinion, the first thing is to have everything clear. Doing first and then thinking can only lead to problems.
