Hello, I'm currently in the planning stages for a Smart installation in a flat and when it comes to this type of system I'm a complete layman and would have a few questions.

I will be doing a major refurbishment in the flat including replacing the entire electrical system.
Hallway - control of 230V lighting
Bedroom - RGBW control, curtain system, roller blinds, air conditioning
Room - control of 230V lighting and dimmable lighting, curtain system, roller blinds
Bathroom - control of 230V lighting
Kitchen - control of lighting 230V

I would like to opt for a wired system where I would be able to program it myself. Just which one to choose?

As far as switches are concerned, I would like to use standard NO switches connected to the control panel with a UTP twisted pair. Am I thinking correctly?

Take a greenton course for example, you will get a certificate and a discount on your first purchase (the course can pay for itself) and you will be free to program without losing your warranty :) .
Choose your system first, then design and do the cabling. Twisted pair may not be a good choice.
