EARU fuse with power measurement - how to read power consumption results...?

    Welcome,

    I recently bought an EARU TUYA ZIGBEE fuse from the Chinese.
    Just for a test to measure the current draw of computers/monitors and electronics in general.

    And I'm having trouble interpreting the results.

    The result "power consumption" does not correspond to current consumption and voltage, the difference is - depending on the load 2-5x.

    Is this due to the general quality of the hardware, or to firmware errors?
    If so, which measurement is more reliable and translates into bills?
    Can this be corrected somehow?

    Could it be the difference between active and reactive power...?

    Can one dormant PC (miniPC) + 3 dormant monitors consume 50VA?

    With alternating voltage, there is the issue of reactive and active power. If the load is either inductive or capacitive, the power is not just the product of current and voltage. There is also the phase shift (cos fi).

    So what - with the new electricity meter (which supposedly already takes active and reactive power into account) I pay for which value?

    For the product of U x I (i.e. here: 226 x 0.24A = 54VA)
    or for what the wattmeter shows, i.e. 8W?

    With the old meter it's probably the smaller one, but with the new ones I don't know how it is....
    But I don't think it suddenly counts for everything 2-6x more than on the old one...?

    I have a similar problem. It shows far too little power. It measures a storage furnace at my place, and in this case cos.fi = 1.
