Hi,
In one of our project, we have designed a plastic enclosure for environmental protection of one AGM 12V 100A battery. The battery and connections must be protected from constant salt water splashing. The enclosure been fully seal, we try to use different concepts of valves to exit pressure from exhausted gas when the battery is charge and discharge. It work poorly, while the pressure is keep under control and water can not came in from the valve, after a few months of operation, we always end up with significant quantity of water in the enclosure that corrode our cables and connections. We suspect that this water may come from the reaction between the gas emission and air/humidity in the enclosure, not from outside. So we are out of idea how to keep that enclosure dry inside and we are seeking for new ideas. Any suggestion will we be welcome.
Bye
Jacques
