Is it possible to realise remote control of switching lights on and off in such a way as to simply change the switches in the house to ones that could communicate with some system by wire, sending a signal over the 230 V power line? Just each one has its own IP or other I2C number and you control them via some protocol?
I don't want to rip up walls to lay new control wiring, and Wi-Fi won't necessarily work everywhere, although maybe, maybe....
It will be about 20-30 points.

A smart switch won't get along with a dumb bulb fixture. Luminaires should also be at least after some basic IT courses.

    >>21728012 Can I ask for at least some sample system names, then I'll play around?

I thought the issue would be solved by simply changing the switch in the box and it would simply be an electronic on/off relay that would filter out the control signals from the 230V line.

I'm not completely familiar with it, but logically, if you transmit a coded signal from a switch, it must be decoded on the other side, i.e. in the particular lamp that is supposed to turn on. At least that's how I imagine it.
