A few days ago, a neighbour gave me three "hombli SmartSockets" for free. I wanted to use them in my smart home, but without the Tuya Cloud. Thanks to Gemini, a CachyOS laptop, and Cloudcutter, I was able to install OpenBK723IT. Quite easy and with no issues. The three sockets are now working perfectly with OpenBK723IT via MQTT with Home Assistant. Here is the configuration I worked out, along with a photo of the device.
