    Hi,

    I’m not an electrician and I have no experience with electrical installations, so please bear with me.

    Up until now, fitting lights has been straightforward for me. There were three wires coming out of the ceiling: yellow-green, blue and brown, so I had no trouble connecting the light.

    In my new flat, the situation is completely different. I think I have a staircase light switch, and on top of that, the whole system is integrated with the Fibaro Smart Home.

    A junction box protrudes from the ceiling, to which four wires are connected:

    * yellow-green,
    * brown,
    * black,
    * grey.

    My light fitting has standard terminals: L, N and PE.

    Could someone explain how to correctly identify these wires and connect the light fitting? In a Smart Home/Fibaro system, might the wire colours be used differently from the standard? I wouldn’t want to damage anything or create a hazard.

    How do I connect an L N PE lamp to a Fibaro Smart Home system using brown, black and grey PE wires?

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    It depends on the installer. :>
