How to configure OpenBeken on LN822HKI as a WPA2 secured AP?

As I have the need to get OpenBeken on LN822HKI to provide an own WPA2-secured AP, as this is possible with Tasmota and Espurna, I will be happy for each hint, suggestion etc. to do so. User insmod told me about this PR. I try to understand all those needed changes and how the basic libraries work. My experience is currently focused on the ESP infrastructure.
So I am happy for each help and useful tips.
Furthermore, I am eager to understand why such a basic function is not (yet?) implemented.

I don't recall this feature being requested before.

That PR would need updating to fix conflicts. AI says it has quite a few bugs too.
