As part of my internship, I have been given an assignment to solve a problem with the EXS 4 software. The problem is that the program cannot always communicate with the controls. Something is interfering with the communication and I am supposed to find out what it is and solve the problem. This is my first contact with the ETS program and the KNX system and therefore I don't really know how to go about it. I wanted to check the communication of the program with the components and to do this I turned on the diagnostic tool to monitor the bus traffic. Here another problem arose, because I had to run the diagnostic tool several times before it started working. When I clicked on 'start' a loading symbol appeared next to the cursor, which spun endlessly. It usually took 5 tries before it worked however once I managed to get it to work it worked fine and recorded all traffic.
Has anyone perhaps had this problem and managed to solve it? I would be very grateful for any good advice.
