I have recently been thinking about buying a siemens logo 8 kit! - to control the lights in my flat. I currently have them organised on bistable relays, but I would like to be able to control the lights myself via a webserver. Hence the idea for the logo.
At the moment I'm mainly thinking of buying the 230V version, due to the fact that we have 230V bulbs everywhere. But it also occurred to me to buy a 24V DC version, mainly to be able to use PWM and to be able to control the brightness without an additional dimmer, which I would need at 230V.
Now the question is: What advantages/disadvantages do 24 V led bulbs have?
