Hi,
I am planning to install home automation in a newly built house. As part of my budget planning, I am wondering what is essential and what I can let go of or, for example, just prepare the wiring now and buy the rest in a while. E.g.:
1. the weather station - I can prepare the whole system, but buy the stations themselves when I finish the garden
2. do I really need that many circuits for the lights, i.e. do I need to control all the lights. What is the saving, if any, if I install traditional switches in part of the house, without control
3. cameras and drive I can buy after the move in, I don't need to do this straight away
Itp.
What are your opinions. What do you think is necessary or what can I spread out over time.
P.s. I know it also depends on subjective preferences, but I am asking in general and about your experience.
