The recorder is DS-7604NI-SE / P Firmware V2.3.7 build 131112. I'm still looking for newer firmware, knocks to no avail, the internet has it that we are digging through a pile of garbage ... I would not like to upload these random files and see if will start, because it will be difficult to "distance" it later. With DNS knocks, which I did not rummage, because I am looking for an alternative way to view live via the mobile application.

The router is a poor F3 tenda so I can have a fixed IP. What is it exactly?

If you can buy a fixed IP, it will be the best, the easiest and the safest because you connect directly, then on the router it is enough to redirect the ports to the IP address of the recorder.

I have a camera preview on my phone and tablet using the cloud and the Hik-Connect application.
    The old question remains:
How to do to preview the cameras on a laptop with Windows 7? Can it be done?

You should add a new recorder with its IP in IVMS on the PC or set the new recorder to the same IP as the old one (and enter the correct password).
It is best to set the new IP recorder outside of the router's DHCP pool, and enter these IPs in the IVMS.

Sorry to cut myself in, but I don't want to start a new topic and this one fits perfectly :)
What internet is required (upload) to view the camera remotely in the application on the hik-connect phone with 4Mpx cameras?

    Hello ,
I have such a question. I have a configured HIKVISION recorder with the Cloud P2P service. I would like to manage the recorder with IVMS from the Internet using this service. Is it possible for the Cloud P2P to access the recorder menu as it is directly on the recorder ???

How can I remotely configure the recorder?

Well, but it's only local, I guess or how do you have a fixed IP?

Thank you for such a configuration through the cloud.

@sosarek Are you talking about managing the recorder via the cloud from this menu?

@sosarek It is probably underdeveloped IVMS software as soon as such access is possible. Don't you think ...? How does this compare to e.g. Dahua?

@sosarek I mean access to such a menu, unfortunately it does not work with HIK Connect.

If you have a public but variable IP address, you use ddns. If you have a public constant, you don't use it because what for? If you do not have a public address, you are doomed to "clouds" or you buy a router, eg mikrotika and set up a l2tp / pptp tunnel / choose any place where you have a public address and expose yourself to the world there.

@dktr and if I have a public fixed address, then I have to enter it somewhere in the nvr network settings? Do I have to redirect to the local nvr address on the router?

Okay, now how do I set an address for NVR, e.g. 192.168.2.1 and I have, for example, 50 IP cameras to connect, I need to have free 50 IP addresses for these cameras on the router ???
