    Hello
I have purchased a DGM PP-W162 socket, and also from china a WiFi socket called EleLight. Both models have a chip called TYWE2S ( I was hoping for some ES8266 ).

Has anyone experimented with these chips ?
According to internet resources, the TYWE2S chip is a replacement for the ESP8265. I uploaded a soft named ESP_Easy_mega-20181129_minimal_ESP8285_1024_OTA.bin . It worked, I configured it my way. But I was only able to get one pin working ( according to the documentation the chip has pins out: 4, 5, 12, 13, 14. So far I manage to switch on the LED indicating that the socket is on. I don't know if I uploaded the right soft in there.

Maybe someone has more experience with such sockets and could share ?

    According to the internet:
    Chip/Module used:

    Switch Plug ESP8285-TYWE2S
    Door Sensor ESP8266-TYWE3S
    PIR Sensor ESP8266-TYWE3S
    Hand Remote RTL8710BN-WR3
    Sirene RTL8710BN-WR3
    Led Strip ESP8266-TYWE3L

    Switch Plug is like this:
    gpio 4 is LED (0 = on)
    gpio 12 is relay (1 = on)
    gpio 14 is switch (0 = pressed)

My suggestion is to upload Tasmot instead of ESPeasy. and look for a suitable Template.

The new ESP 8285 is (from a programming point of view) the same as the old ESP 8266. The 8285 has a built-in FLASH, the 8266 a separate one. Thanks to the built-in FLASH, the whole chip is smaller. Arguably, it will also be more durable (manufacturers may have used low-quality FLASH). Everyone is now switching to the 8285 in the new Sonoffs, for example.
