Good morning, everyone,
I'm asking a new question as I haven't found answers to similar issues on the forum.
I have bought a 150m2, 2 storey house in shell condition with a built in Risco GTX one alarm system.
The alarm is fitted with one simplest keypad keypad.
The alarm is set up by Solid and monitored by them. It still has a two year warranty.
There are 4 internal motion detectors connected to the alarm. And that's so much of the alarm installation, so poor.
Having already analysed Risco's performance capabilities, I can see that I need to change the alarm even though it still has two years of warranty.
It simply does not even meet the average level of security.
I also want to change it because I would like to connect a large part of the systems in the house under one control panel and manage them automatically.
To connect I have:
0. Two 7-inch, touch-screen keypads that will operate all the connected systems.
Satel supposedly allows all of the following systems to be operated:
1. alarm system. Current motion sensors, 3 external curtains, 16 window sensors, garage door sensor, flood sensors, fire sensors, water shut off valve in case of a spill. Some of the system will be wireless,
2. video intercom with two screens (ground and ground floor), which will also operate the rest of the system.
Buttons in the courtyard near the wicket to open it when going outside (opening the wicket is also to operate from the screens inside the house,
3. control system for external blinds. Rather Wi-Fi as I already have the interior plaster laid. I just need to make boxes near the windows and run wires outside to control the roller shutters,
4. opening and closing the sliding gate in front of the house,
5. irrigation system in the backyard (I will do it one day),
6. control of the automatic lawn mower (next stage),
7, Controlling the lighting outside and inside the house,
8, Control of electric underfloor heating. There will be infrared heating throughout the house.
Of course I will do the whole thing in stages.
Is the Satel Integra system even 256 capable of garnering such an installation?
Or is it already beyond its capabilities?
What do you suggest if Integra is really not suitable?
The alarm is of course compulsory, so why not leave the Risco GTX One and add something like HomeCenter2 to it?
Unfortunately the whole thing will have to be wireless for the most part.
With canned controllers e.g. blinds, lighting
I no longer have the option of laying the bus and all wired communication.
I would be grateful for advice and tips on how to solve this sensibly.
Regards
